Flash Support for Drupal Advertisement module

I just completed the development of a flash plugin for the Advertisement module. The plugin is available here.
With this plugin you can add flash ads to you Drupal website and track different stats for it.
It is also able to override hardcoded urls in the swf files. Then is it possible to track clicks on those files. This feature uses some swf url convertion code from the Openads project.
If you have questions or problems please refer to this feature request.

Hi fabio,
Could you please explain a little thing about your GREAT plugin?
In the banner edit tab I've found "Convert links URLs in flash file" link, bit I was unable to make it work.
stuck with following error "Unable to find link urls in the Flash file. Links conversion not available."
My guess is, that with help of lib-swf.inc.php it's possible to override links thats are in the swf file.
If I'm right could you please explain the right way of producing sfws banners to get this feature working?
thanks in advance

You should upload and post a swf file which contains an absolute URL (like http://www.varesano.net/ ) embedded in it.
Then the module, once clicking on "Convert links URLs in flash file", should be able to find it and let you override it..
Unfortunately, as Flash is a closed and non standard format which is continuately changed by Macromedia/Adobe is probable that the overriding feature will not work with all the swf files, expecially the most complex ones.
Sorry for the late reply.
Thanks for
Thanks for explanation.
Probably mine swfs are to complex, because I couldn't make it to work.
anyway, I'm using different technique, in flash all urls I'm making to be _root.url_variable, and then this param is overrides.
Flash Plug in for Ad module
"Unfortunately I had to develop it basing on ad.module version 5.x-1.0-1 because I've been stuck with the 0 width and 0 height images bug of the dev version."
Does this mean it will not work with the latest release of the ad module?
Many thanks,
